The film poster that I'm basing it off is from my upcoming short film which is named 'The Second Devil'. This film features a linear narrative and incorporates themes of despair, suspense, tension and violence. The Second Devil is about the protagonist's journey to find and capture a mysterious killer who bears an alternate personality which makes it difficult for him to accomplish due to this extraordinary case he has come across which could result in even the destruction of his career and personal life.
My short film would feature some fade to black transitions as to create a dark effect for the film as I want to include conventions of a thriller.

KEY SCENES -
From the beginning of the film the audience receives an establishing shot of part of the city that the plot is based in, which is London. This is there so the audience can receive the information through the visual codes that the protagonist is at the centre of the shot as the camera pans down to him with the addition to his long dark coat and dark clothing. Through the technical codes, this would make the audience think that the character on screen is the antagonist due to the colour codes from his clothing that are dark that links to death however this will indeed be the protagonist of the film .
Key Scene no.2
Vito overseeing the city from above. This shot is meant for it to seem like the protagonist is nervous, anxious and has taken the case he has to work on to a personal level.
